Proposal Development Support

·  Reformat and compile biosketches

o 15 business days before deadline:  Provide list of participants and available biosketches or CV’s (in Word)

·  Develop Current and Pending documents

o 15 business days before deadline: Provide name(s) of participants

·  Narrative review for clarity and responsiveness to review criteria

o Minimum 7 business days before deadline: Provide draft in Word (preferred)

·  Budget development

o  7 business days before deadline:  Provide draft spreadsheet and narrative

 Proposal Submission

·    Complete application materials and signed OSP checklist

o    3 business days before deadline

Research Integrity and Protections Requirements

·          Disclosure of Annual Conflicts of Interest

o      October – September reporting cycle

o      Must have annual COI filed prior to OSP submission

·          Intellectual Property Agreement

o     October – September reporting cycle

o     Must have IPA filed prior to OSP submission

·       Personnel and Environmental Safety Issues

o     All trainings, licenses or approvals (as necessary) must be confirmed by Environmental Health Office before research can proceed and for award set up (including requests for Forward Funding).

·       Human and Animal Subjects Protections

o     All approvals or exemptions must be obtained prior to engaging in research activity and for award set up (including requests for Forward Funding).
